Terms of Service

The terms governing your use of clil.digited.net and the free resources we publish.

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website clil.digited.net (the "Site") and the free content we publish through it: the downloadable CLIL resources and worked examples, and the informational pages. These Terms do not govern a paid engagement. The terms of any Digited CLIL training or consultancy are set out separately in the engagement letter and enquiry process for that work.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Who we are

The Site is owned and operated by Claire AM Guillon, trading as Digited Atelier, operated as a sole proprietorship, working online. Digited CLIL is the teaching practice published under that name. In these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Digited Atelier. Our contact details are in Section 13.

3. Who the Site is for

The Site and its resources are intended for teachers, school leaders, and others working in education. You may use the Site if you are at least 16 years old. If you are under 16, you may use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Your use of the Site

You may access, read, and share the free content on the Site for personal, non-commercial use, subject to the intellectual property terms in Section 5. You agree not to:

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site (the texts, the free resources and templates, the worked examples, the illustrations, the designs, and the Digited Atelier brand elements) is owned by us or licensed to us. You have a personal, non-commercial licence to access and read it. Beyond that licence, all rights are reserved.

You may print and use the free resources and templates in your own classroom and school, for non-commercial educational use; adapt the templates for your own teaching, keeping any attribution they carry; quote short extracts (up to 300 words) with attribution for non-commercial purposes; link to the pages and resources; and cite the Site in academic or educational materials with full attribution. You may not republish a resource in full or in substantial part, produce a derivative product for commercial distribution, resell the resources, use the Digited Atelier name or marks on your own materials without written permission, or use the content to train a machine-learning model without our written permission.

If you submit content to us (a message, a response to a form, a testimonial), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for the purpose for which you submitted it. You retain ownership of what you submit. We anonymise or omit identifying details when quoting from submissions in public writing, unless you give explicit written consent to be identified.

6. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party websites and services, and it relies on service providers (for example, our enquiry forms and scheduling). We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of any third-party site is governed by that site's own terms and privacy policy.

7. Disclaimers

The Site and its free content are provided "as is". The free resources, templates, and worked examples are general professional guidance for educators, written from the perspective of an experienced teacher and examiner; they are offered to adapt to your own context, and they do not constitute legal, financial, or medical advice. Any Digited CLIL training or consultancy is professional development; it supports your practice and does not guarantee any particular result. We do not guarantee that the Site will be available without interruption or that the content will always be current.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, and excluding liability that cannot be limited by law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud): our liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or the free content is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any; we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss; and nothing in this Section limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, or to a paid engagement, if you breach these Terms or the specific terms of that engagement. On termination, the disclaimers, the limits of liability, the intellectual property terms, and the dispute terms continue to apply.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version and its effective date are shown at the foot of this page. Where a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention. Continued use of the Site after a change takes effect indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law, reflecting the French hosting of this site and the online, cross-border nature of the practice. Nothing in this Section limits any mandatory consumer-law rights you have in your country of residence.

12. The relationship to our other policies

These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy and our Code of Conduct. Where these Terms conflict with the specific terms of a paid engagement, the engagement terms take precedence for that transaction.

13. Contact

For any question about these Terms, please write to contact [at] digited [dot] net. This Site is owned and operated by Claire AM Guillon, trading as Digited Atelier, working online.
